Eternal Kaldero

In Cindy’s photo album she had her favorite pictures of Kaldero.  On the beach…  jumping… and a photograph of a beautiful sunset taken one evening in his pasture, just before he became an angel horse.  With my artistic eyes, I could see that the image of Kaldero jumping would fit perfectly into the silhouette of the purple cloud.  When I created the portrait, the natural windblown shapes of the cloud inspired me to add wings… Cindy has found great comfort in Kaldero’s portrait and has said it makes her feel as if she has a part of him always with her.  And every once in awhile, when she is in need of more confirmation, he sends her this uniquely colored sunset… ~ Kim McElroy
