THE STORY BEHIND THE ART
I created “Longing” to express the distance we sometimes feel in the presence of horses when they look beyond us to far-off places. It often feels like they have left us for a moment, even though they are physically there. I created this art when I didn’t have horses, so it also expresses the longing I had for being with horses that, at the time,seemed like an unattainable dream.”
