THE STORY BEHIND THE ART
Lavande - French for Lavender. A simple name for this spirit horse. This being emerged from my pastels as if he had been waiting for me to create him. He speaks to the hearts of many, but especially to one Native American artist with a wounded heart, who longed for the connection that Lavande offered, like a person who has found his dream horse.
I let him go for a small price, for that was all he could give.
