THE STORY BEHIND THE ART
I had a penchant for painting blue horses way before I knew of Franz Marc’s famous painting “Blue Horses”. This horse expresses a moment of quiet contemplation, drawn in the dreamlike hues that convey the otherworldly feeling that one can have in the presence of horses. Because of this, I titled it Cheval de Rêve, French for Horse of a Dream.
