to be familiar with
We can experience all of these things without the words
Connect with the part of you that is part of me,
Walk in my hooves for a few moments, as I walk in your footsteps
And in the space of a breath

About the Art
As part of my Expressions series, 'Askance' depicts a horse that is looking away from us. We can’t help but be intrigued as to what has drawn its attention, and we long for the beautiful depths of those eyes to look our way again. Their attention allows us to reflect upon our presence in the world, and our relationships with others and with ourselves.
