To Be a Horse
What would it be like to be a wild horse. Can you think of all the reasons why you'd like to be a wild horse?
Horses run fast on four powerful legs.
Horses are pretty and they like to prance.
Horses are smart and have many friends.
What would it feel like to run fast with four legs?
You're hands are your two front legs.
Slap them on your knees. Ta dum, Ta dum, Ta dum, Ta da dum.
What's it like to breathe through a long horse nose? Close your mouth. Take a deep breath through your nose, then blow it out through your nose.
Here's how to snort like a horse. Keep your lips closed and blow out through your mouth. Pfbpfbpfbpfbpfbb.
Your ears are on top of your head. You can turn them any direction. Forwards. Backwards. Sideways. Look at your hands. Take your first and second fingers and press them together, pointing up. Now put your hands on top of your head. These are your horse ears. Turn them backwards. Can you imagine what it would be like to hear behind you?
Your hair is on the back of your neck. Can you feel your mane blowing in the wind?
Your eyes are on either side of your head. You can see in front of you and behind you and both sides at once. You can see a tree almost a mile away.
Can you whinny like a horse? A horse says, ee heehee huh huh hummm.
Now you try it. Ee heehee huh huh hummm.
Ok, now lets put it all together. You're running Ta dum, ta dum, ta dum, ta da dum.
You're breathing in and out of your nose.
You're whinnying. Ee heehee huh huh hummm.
Can you smell the flowers and grass as you run? Can you smell, oh, what's that smell? Other horses! You're running towards your herd, your family, your friends!.
Now you're near the herd. Can you hear the other horses whinny hello? Ee heehee huh huh hummm.
They are starting to run with you, hear their hoof beats? Ta dum, ta dum, ta dum, ta da dum. You are all wild horses!
Now you slow to a walk and let out a big snort. Pf bpfbpfbpfbpfbbb.
Now you are home safe, there's lots of grass to eat. You have many friends. You are happy.
Being yourself is the best thing of all. Because when you use your imagination, you can be anything you want to be. .
You can be on a spaceship.
You can be a fish.
You can be the ocean!
You can be anything, anyone you want.
Especially a horse.
