"Unicorn of the Sky" was commissioned for a Lenox China Collector's Plate series. I showed the original painting at horse shows, but I was disappointed when a few people made comments that they thought he would look better as a horse. In my attempt to make the painting more popular, I removed his horn and called him "Southerly Wind". I did sell the original painting, but ever since - I've always wanted to restore his horn." |
