The eyes of horses have always fascinated me. When I was inspired to paint this creation, I don't think I was aware of the multi layers of complex images that were involved. I was so focused on creating the two horses looking at each other, that I never actually saw the large eye of the horse looking at me... until one day, I looked at the eye from a long distance away...
and the power of the gaze stopped me in my tracks.
