This dramatic vision portrays the Andalusian Stallion Centauro, formerly owned by Bo Derek. My friend Jan Gyllenstern, had photographed Centauro for his portfolio. I was inspired to enhance the stallion's beauty by portraying him against a field of lupine. I sought to convey the fantasies, hopes and dreams of all girls who love horses.
In 1996, "Field of Dreams" received the "People's Choice Award" out of 400 works of art displayed during the "Horses in Motion" Exhibition at the Kentucky Derby Museum.
