Missi’s owners Ann and Charles grieved deeply when they lost their sweet dog. Charles particularly felt the loss, and so Ann contacted me in the hope that my portrait of Missi could bring him some comfort.
In my meditation with Missi, I was amazed to find her vibrant spirit so vitally present, and in a place that seemed like a dog heaven. She showed me that each day at 2:40 pm she opened a window from the realm she was in to visit Charles and Ann and she wanted me to pass along the message for them to become quiet during that time and experience her presence. She then showed me an image of herself curled up inside Charles’ heart, with the message “I am in his heart.” Then she showed me a stairway to heaven and the stairway led directly to her heart. The message was - the way for Charles to find her heart - was through his heart.
Charles’ Comments:
In my lifetime I have experienced several emotional experiences that matched the intensity of what I felt when I first saw Missi looking at me from the clouds. Unfortunately, most of my earlier feelings at this same level were sadness from a loss of something dear to me like losing a loved one (including Missi). This time I was completely consumed by love......love for Missi, love for my wife Ann for caring enough to give me such a thoughtful and indescribable treasure, and love for Kim who obviously was able to make a connection with Missi and transfer it to a gift which will be with me forever. Kim, even though I have never met you face to face we have met heart to heart and spirit to spirit. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
