Kim McMuldrow is a shamanic practitioner. She said she had been having visions of a guide and ally she referred to as Spirit of Horse. When she saw my paintings in the Soul Essence style, she said they reminded her of how Spirit of Horse appears to her, and she asked if I could create a special painting of this benevolent being.
In meditation I asked to connect with the Spirit of Horse and what wisdom she might impart for Kim. I immediately saw her shape and the color turquoise - it felt this represented the color and stone turquoise was meaningful for her as a connection to the earth. In the center of her forehead and connected to her 3rd eye area was the color amethyst in a diamond shape. Inside the shape was a white horse in repose. The message of this image was that a white horse resting is like a Buddha in repose and at one with the Universe.
I then saw her in another form in connection with the horse goddess Epona, the name which she pronounced Epoena. In this vision she appeared as a human and a horse connected in spirit. The human and horse were one being - appearing in two bodies. I was given the impression that ancient people perceived Epoena was a human goddess who had a spiritual connection to horses - but in my interpretation of this vision, the human woman was the manifestation of the horse's consciousness created in order to communicate the horse's message to humans. The human was one with the horse and arose out of the horse's spirit energy, as the horse speaking through her.
I saw the Spirit of Horse had a mane that was made up of all colors of horse hair. . She conveyed that the essence of the horse is in their hair. And also in their hair they carry the Spirit of Horse energy. Horse hair is unique to horses in expressing their beauty, freedom, and connection to wind and spirit.

The work she did for me was exquisite and honours the horse in a way that sings to my soul.
