Visionary Healer

This is an Expressions portrait of a beautiful Arabian gelding named Yonaa which means “Healer”.   His person, Rita, has had many profound experiences with him and they often occur when she gazes into his eyes.   She asked me to paint a series of her 4 horse’s eyes, which has sparked this new Portrait Style called Expressions Portraits.   Eyes are the windows to the soul, and this is especially so with horses, for they eyes are so large and reflective.   We often feel that horses look into our soul with their deep perceptive and intuitive abilities.

Within your eyes a silent choice

Inviting me to heal

With you I enter a timeless realm

As our two souls merge as one

I am lost and then found again
