Tommy Boss, a Tennessee Walker, is the leader of his herd of three. His photo portrays him high stepping and on alert. I loved the idea of painting him in his handsome winter coat against the beautiful backdrop of his home. I felt that the inclusion of his other two herdmates, Yonaa and Sierra, would give further purpose and energy to his portrait. His owner Rita agreed that this would more fully capture Tommy's life purpose and personality. In addition to being a strong and capable leader, Tommy has a tender heart that has helped those in need of comfort. |
