This is a painting of a mare named "Firecracker". In her portrait I portrayed a certain "look" of self assurance she often expressed. It seemed she took great pleasure in looking so wild. Wild Heart Ranch commissioned this painting for the horse toy character named "Earthquake" in the "No More Night Mares" toy line.
