I met this horse on a windy day in Nevada. Though I do not recall her name, I remember her spirit, and the way she seemed so self contained. Author H.-H. Isenbart wrote: "her gaze is focused on the distance, and when we stand in front of her... she seems to look through us to something else" When a horse like this looks through you, it feels as if she is in a world of her own, and we are merely the silent witnesses to her mysterious beauty.
