These paintings portray horses as one with the elements of nature. Some were inspired by the shapes of horses I discovered in natural formations of waves, mountains, and clouds. Others express the elemental aspects of the horse's spirit - their fiery temperament, their earthy sensuality, their changeable moods. In ancient myths the horse was formed from the wind, and born of the sea. The horse is a being that seems to exist both in our realm, and in another dimension, where the spirits of their ancestors watch over them.
